The first reporter made a presentation on "Coin production and Money Turnover in Azerbaijan" by Ph.D. in History, Aygun Mammadova, senior scientific worker of the Scientific Department of the Department of “Numismatics and Epigraphy” of the National History Museum of ANAS.
She gave broad information about the release of coins and the circulation of money, from the ancient Albanian, Atropatena states to the subsequent centuries, including the Safavid state, the period of khanate, to a long history of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
The second reporter, the Fund's Director of the National History Museum of ANAS Ph.D. in History, associate professor Sanubar Gasimova,
made presentation on "The Formation and Development of Paper Money in Azerbaijan".
Then, wide discussions were held on the importance of coins and paper money circulation, turnover, socioeconomic and state history in various periods of historical lands of Azerbaijan (economics.com.az).
