On February 01, 2019, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. Under the chairmanship of the director of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) a number of issues were discussed at the meeting. Director of the Institute gave information about the decision 1/3 by the Presidium of ANAS on conducting the competition for the positions of scientific worker in scientific institutions and organizations of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences
At the meeting, also discussed the preparation of Ph.D. and Doctor of Science for 2018-2019 academic year and the results of admission to the dissertation of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. At the meeting, was also discussed the current status of the test bank, which is intended for the entrance exams to the doctorate degree and recommended that the test bank should be upgraded in accordance with the modern requirements.
By the decision of the Scientific Council, recommended the publication of a monograph by the head of the department "Entrepreneurship and Problems of Monopoly Regulation", prof. Tarbiz Aliyev "Clusters: Organization and Management (International Experience and Innovative Development)", Head of Department "Finance, monetary and credit policy", Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc.prof., Yashar Mammadov's monograph "Audit Service in Azerbaijan", Associate Member of ANAS. Doctor of Economics, Prof., Ali Nuriyev and senior scientific worker, Ph.D. Matanat Abdalova's monograph "Thoughts, suggestions and recommendations on the improvement of state regulation of the economy" (economics.com.az).
