On December 10, 2018, at the Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan held an international conference of young scholars and specialists on "The Role of Sustainable Health Tourism in the Economy of Country"
The event was organized within the framework of the 4th Special Contest of Young Scientists and Specialists - "My First Grant", organized jointly by the Science 
Development Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Project Director: Ulviyya Gahramanli, Youth Tourism SU). Along with Azerbaijan, young specialists from five countries (Iran, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey and Belarus) attended the conference devoted to the 100th anniversary of the People's Republic of Azerbaijan.
Leading researcher at the Department of Globalization and International Economic Relations of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Ph.D. Gulnar Samadova made a report on "Analysis and Evaluation of Medical Tourism in Azerbaijan" and presented her the aaaacertificate for her active participation (economics.com.az).
