At Central Scientific Library of ANAS held a "roundtable" on "Role of Mass Media in Popularization of Science"

On December 19, 2018, held a roundtable discussion on "The Role of Mass Media in Popularization of Science" was organized by the Press and Information Office of the Presidium, ANAS and with the support of the Free Trade Union of ANAS. The event held at the Central Scientific Library of ANAS, Chairman of the Press Council of Azerbaijan Aflatun Amashov, chief editors of the country's leading newspapers, officials of news sites, dean of the department of “journalism” of Baku State University, Ph.D. Vugar Zivaroglu, heads of departments of “Public relations” of the institutions of ANAS and mass media representatives.
At the end, representatives of various mass media were awarded by the ANAS for the contribution to science. Head of Department of “Public Relations” of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, PhD in Economics, Mahir Zeynalov was awarded by the President of ANAS Akif Alizadeh for his contribution to science dissemination (economics.com.az).
