The ambassador was informed about the activity and carried out scientific researches of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. During the business meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of exchange of experience and expansion of non-cash payments in Azerbaijan, including the “State Program on Digital Payments for the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018-2020”, approved by the President of Azerbaijan on 26 September, 2018. Also discussed cooperation opportunities. Atash Sultanov, the Press and Information Officer of the Swiss Embassy, and Head of the Department of International Relations of the Institute of Economics, Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc.prof., Rufat Efendiyev also participated at the meeting (economics.com.az).
