  On November 27, 2018, held the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting, which chaired by the Director of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov).
  First, on behalf of the Scientific Council, prof. N.Muzaffarli congratulated the head of the Department, Professor, Isa Aliyev on his 65th Anniversary and wished him new creative achievements in his scientific activity. Prof. I.Aliyev expressed his gratitude for congratulations and attention.
  At the meeting heard. Prof. Tofig Huseynov’s report on improving the quality of dissertations for defense at the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
  Including, recommended the publication of the materials of the International Scientific-Practical Conference on Economic Growth and Social Welfare held on October 18, 2018, as part of the 60th Anniversary of the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
At the meeting, planned to hold a new competition for those who did not participate in the competition that held on June 21 - July 2, 2018, at the Institute of Economics ANAS.
  In the Scientific Council on the presentation of Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc.prof. Rasmiyya Abdullayeva by a secret ballot a leading researcher of the department “Regional development and utilization problems of natural resources” Ph.D. in Economics Mazaddin Ayyubov and a leading researcher of the department “Globalization and International Economic Relations” Ph.D. in Economics, Gulnar Samadova decided to give the name of the associate professor (economics.com.az).
