On November 14, 2018, was held the next meeting of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh presented awards to employees for their contribution to the development of economics science in Azerbaijan on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Economics, ANAS.

Gulshan Yuzbashiyeva awarded with "Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan", Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of Economics, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor, Allahyar Muradov and head of department, Professor Tofig Huseynov were awarded with the "Taraggi" (Progress) Medal.
