On October 30, 2018, held the meeting of dissertation at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. The meeting held under the chairmanship of director of the Institute of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) defended Firdovsi Hashim Shahbazov the thesis on the theme “Investment factor in regulating macroeconomic proportions in Azerbaijan” (Scientific adviser - Doctor of Economics, professor R.Guliyev)
Scientific Councilor Ph.D. in Economics, Sabina Shikhaliyeva gave information about defender and then Firdovsi Hashim Shahbazov spoke about the urgency of the work, investigation level of the problem, its duties and purposes, its main scientific innovation, the context of investigation, and talked about the conclusions and suggestions. 
Later, the candidate answered the questions addressed to him, by the members of the council. Appointed official opponents - Doctor of Economics, professor, Amil Maharramov and Ph.D. in Economics, Yashar Mammadov reasonably gave their suggestions and comments. The leading organization is the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, the department of “Economic theory and marketing”.
At the meeting also noted opinions on author's abstracts. F.Shahbazov gave broad answer to the questions and comments by opponents, leading agencies and responders. We should note that the discussion was very interesting, and beside with the noted comments and suggestions candidate’s dissertation work meet the requirements of the High Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. And at the end F.Shahbazov’s dissertation work was confirmed by close votes of members of the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
