On October 12, 2018, held the meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. During the meeting, chaired by Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, defended Ph.D. dissertation on the theme "Development of the area of building materials and territorial organization in the regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan" by Kerim Pirmammad Piriyev, Ph.D. on economics (scientific supervisor, Doctor of Economics, Prof. R. Soltanova). Dissertation work carried out at the Institute of Economics, ANAS
The Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council Sabina Shikhaliyeva, after giving information about the bidder K.Piriyev made
a presentation on the relevance of the dissertation work, spoke about the urgency of the work, investigation level of the problem, duties and purposes of the work, the main scientific innovation of the work, the context of investigation, and talked about the conclusions and purposes. Then the plaintiff answered the questions of the members of the Dissertation Council, which addressed to him. Defined official opponents on work – Doctor of Economics, Professor Gazanfar Suleymanov and Ph.D. in Economics, Leman Mammadova not only noted the relevance of the issue, but also expressed their suggestions and comments. Leading organization is the Department of Economics and Management of the services areas” of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
At the meeting listened the opinions on abstracts. The plaintiff K.Piriyev gave broad answer to the questions and comments by opponents, leading agencies and responders. Beside with the noted comments and suggestions candidate’s dissertation work meet the requirements of the High Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. And at the end Kerim Pirmammad Piriyev’s dissertation work was confirmed by close votes of members of the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
