On October 5, 2018, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. At the meeting, which chaired by the Director of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), discussed the issue of revision of the Scientific Council and amendments of the results of the competition holding for the Institute's scientific positions.
At the meeting attended by the Scientific Councilor of the Institute, Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc. Professor Rasmiyya Abdullayeva gave information about the changes that held for scientific positions and based on the results of the contest took place in several departments. She said that head of the Department of Problems of Development of Service Areas, Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc.Prof. Agil Asadov left his position with his statement, and Ph.D. in Economics Leyli Allahverdiyeva has been appointed as the head of the same department. As the director of the Department of Finance, Monetary Policy, nobody was elected, by the order of the Director, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Assoc. Professor Yashar Mammadov has been appointed as the head of this department. Head of Department "Education", Ph.D. in Economics, Arzu Huseyn went on maternity leave, so Ph.D. in physical and mathematical sciences, Assoc. Prof. Gulzura Mehdiyeva will be a head of this department.
At the Department of Entrepreneurship and Monopoly Regulation, Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc.Prof., Abdul-Samad Hasanov elected head scientific worker and Doctor of Economics, Professor Tarbiz Aliyev elected head of department, including Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc.Prof., Jalil Guliyev elected head scientific worker of the department and Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc.Prof. Parviz Hasanov elected head of the department.
Taking into account all these changes in the composition of the Council approved by the decision of the Scientific Council. Thus, P.Hasanov, Y.Mammadov, L.Allahverdiyeva and G.Mehdiyeva were elected new members of the Scientific Council (economics.com.az).
