The scientific positions were elected by competition at the departments “Social-economic problems of life standards" and "Methodological-econometric problems of state regulation of economy"

On July 02, 2018, at the next meeting of the Scientific Council, which was chaired by Professor, Nazim Muzaffarli, Director of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, held a competition for holding scientific positions

The Chairman of the Competition Commission, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Allahyar Muradov gave information about the pretendants of the department of “Social-economic problems of life standards”. Held discussions on each applicant's scientific activities, they asked to addressed questions and heard their opinions at the meeting. Then a secret ballot was held in order to hold the scientific position claimed for each candidate. According to the results, Ph.D. in Economics, Parviz Hasanov elected head of the department, Jalil Guliyev elected head scientific worker, Amalya Allahverdiyeva elected senior scientific worker, Matanat Rzayeva elected leading scientific workers, Jale Aliyeva elected scientific worker.
In the second half of the day, at the Scientific Council held a competition for scientific positions in the department of "Methodological-econometric problems of state regulation of economy". According to the results Associate Professor, Mayis Gulaliyev elected head of department, Leyli Allahverdiyeva elected senior scientific workers, Vefa Hashimova, Akbar Huseynov and Jeyhun Huseynov elected scientific workers, Minara Mammad-zade, Fatime Bayramova, Ilgar Sadigov and Isgandar Babazade elected junior scientific workers (economics.com.az).
