The football team of the Institute of Economics won the 3rd place in the Inter-institutional Football Championship

On May 14, 2018, held the final game and awarding ceremony of the V Interuniversity Soccer Championship of Young Scientists and Specialists dedicated to the 95th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, with the support of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, the Free Trade Unions (FTU). In the final match, the Institute of Physics won the championship by defeating the team of Presidium of ANAS with the score 1-0. Also held championship for the 3rd place, and the Institute of Economics won the Higher Technology Park of ANAS with the score 8-4.
President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh, vice-president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli and chairman of the FTU, professor Habil Gurbanov attended the event of the Academy Awards ceremony. The winners were rewarded at the event. Medals, diplomas and money awards were presented to the winners, including to the members of football team of the Institute of Economics, ANAS (economics.com.az).
