Employees of the Institute of Economics attended the event called TMW - Tourism Meetup & Workshop

  On May 12, 2018, in Baku hosted a tourism event called "TMW - Tourism Meetup & Workshop" organized by the Association of Azerbaijani Tourism Professionals (Skal International Baku). The theme of the event is "Tourism product, the new opportunities, markets and modern trends. "The main goal is developing tourism industry, stimulating sales, defining the directions of effective tourism strategy, creating conditions for mutual exchange of opinions among experts and businessmen on tourism. 
  Representatives of several state and private organizations attended the event, including the director of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, prof. Nazim Muzaffarli made a speech at the event too. At the event were heard 12 local and foreign speakers’ reports and presentations on the "Role of tourism in the economy of the country", "New trends in tourism market and marketing policy" and "Opportunities in the tourism market, and new markets". Senior scientific worker of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, Ph.D. in Economics, Leyli Allahverdiyeva was one of speakers at the event. The event was also attended by employees of the Institute of Economics, ANAS - Ph.D. in Economics, Rufat Efendiyev, Ph.D. in Economics, Arzu Hussein and scientific worker Ulker Mammadova.
  It should be noted that Skal International was established in Paris in 1932 and currently has 15,000 members in 357 clubs operating in 84 countries around the world. One of these clubs is Skal International Baku Club in Azerbaijan. The main goal of the organization is to promote global tourism, friendship, tourism and professional activity at the international level (economics.com.az).
