On April 26, 2018, held a general meeting with the participation of scientific workers in connection with the competition for scientific positions at the Institute of Economics, ANAS.
Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, Director of the Institute, said that he was guided by Article 50 of the Labor Code, Clause 5 of the Article 8, of the Law on “Science” and 2.3.4 of the Statute of the Institute of Economics, ANAS has signed an order for holding the competition since 2018. An appropriate commission was established for the competition, deputy director on scientific affairs of the institute, Ph.D. in Economics, Allahyar Muradov was the chairman of the commission, chiefs of departments, Professor Akif Musayev and Professor Tofig Huseynov, Chief of Personnel Department Yulduz Aliyeva, Chairman of Trade Union Organization Tanriverdi Pasha were appointed members of the commission.
Later, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor, Allahyar Muradov gave detailed information about the rules and conditions of the competition. He said that the admission to the competition began on April 19, 2018, and will be continued until May 19, 2018. Reception of documents is carried out at the Institute's Human Resources Department. Vacancies documents are required, and have been announced relevant rules. As soon as the Competition Commission receives the documents and checks their compliance with the requirements, the Scientific Council with the participation of the bidders will hold a secret ballot, and the results will be disclosed immediately after the end of the assignment. 
Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. Department head Tanriverdi Pasha, correspondent member of ANAS Shahbaz Muradov, Ph.D.n Economics, Ali Huseynov and others expressed their opinions about the competition and noted that there was a legal basis for holding the competition.
