On April 20, 2018, held the meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. Under the chairmanship Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Tarbiz Aliyev at the meeting discussed the thesis on "Evaluation of macro stability in the economy of Azerbaijan" by Bahruz Natig Akhmedov (scientific supervisor, Prof. Nazim Muzaffarli), which presented for the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. Dissertation work was carried out at the Institute for Scientific Researches on Economic Reforms under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Scientific Councilor of the Dissertation Council Ph.D. in Economics, Sabina Shikhaliyeva gave information about the pretender and then Bahruz Ahmedov made a presentation about the urgency of the dissertation work, the studying level of the problem, the goals and objectives of research, the main scientific innovations, the content of the research, including the results and suggestions.
Then the pretender answered the questions of the members of the Dissertation Council. Defined official opponents on work – Doctor of Economics, Professor, Akif Musayev and Ph.D. in Economics,
Shaig Adigozalov noted the relevance of the issue and expressed his remarks and proposals. The leading organization on the job is the Department of "Economics and Management" of the Baku State University.
At the meeting the opinions were given on abstracts. The pretender B.Ahmadov responded to the replies of opponents, leading organizations and reviewers. Speaking on the case, the members of the Council also stated that the issue was topical, and was up to the requirements of the High Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Finally, by secret ballot the dissertation by B. Ahmedov was approved by members of the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
