On April 13, 2018, held the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. At the meeting chaired by the Director of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), were discussed a number of organizational and scientific issues.
At the meeting discussed the results of the admission to open the doctorate preparation of Ph.D. in Economics for the 2017-2018 academic year. Head of the Department of Education, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor, Arzu Huseyn informed about the doctoral candidates of this year. Each Ph.D. dissertation theme was widely discussed and approved by the participation of students.
At the meeting, the scientific editor and publisher of these publications Ph. D. in Economics, Mazeddin Ayyubov gave information on preparation and publication of the bulletin of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. On the basis of its proposal and
decision of the Scientific Council formed editorial staff of analytical bulletins (Ph. D. in Economics, Mazeddin Ayyubov, Ph. D. in Economics, Nasimi Ahmadov and scientist Simrah Ismayilova). Also, recommended the new bulletin "Azerbaijan's Economic and Inclusive Development - 2017" (authors: M. Eyyubov, S.Najafli, Scientific Editor, Doctor of Economics, Prof. A. Musayev).
By the decision of the Scientific Council, the scientific worker of the Department “Agrarian Reforms and Food Security” of the Institute of Economics, Vugar Karimli's monograph "Strategic management in agrarian field in Azerbaijan" (scientific editor: Doctor of Economics, Prof. H.Aliyev, reviewers: Ph. D. in Economics, I.Q.Soltanli, Ph. D. in Economics, Y.M.Sadigov) was recommended for publication.
On occasion carrying out the 95th anniversary of Academician Ahmed Mahmudov, who worked as a director of the Institute of Economics for many years and 90th anniversary of the Correspondent Member of ANAS Aghasammad Alasgarov, were created two separate working commissions under the chairmanship of Professor Shahbaz Muradov and Doctor of Economic Sciences Fuad Ganbarov.
At the Scientific Council was also discussed the situation with the labor discipline. Deputy Director of the Institute for General Affairs Shakir Aliyev gave information about it. It is recommended that labor discipline and department directors be strengthened to monitor the employees' continuity and to take appropriate measures with the Trade Unions of the Institute (economics.com.az).
