On April 6, 2018, was held the meeting of the Dissertation Council of Institute of Economics ANAS. Under the chairmanship of the Council, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), at the meeting was discussed the dissertation presented by 
Leyla Farhad Taghizade defended on the scientific degree Ph.D. in Economics on the theme "Directions of acceleration of integration of Azerbaijan into the world economy” (in the sample of agricultural sector) (supervisor, Doctor of Economics, Professor Isa Aliyev). Dissertation work was carried out at the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS.
The Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics Sabina Shikhaliyeva gave information about the pretendant and then Leyla Tagizade informed the participants about the urgency of the problem, the research level, goals and objectives of the research, the main scientific achievements, research contents, made a presentation on the results and recommendations. 
Then the plaintiff answered the questions of the members of the Dissertation Council, addressed to her. Defined official opponents on work Doctor of Economics, Professor Amil Maharramov and Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor, Famil Rustamov noted the relevance of the issue and expressed his remarks and proposals. The leading organization on the work is the department "International Economic Relations" of Baku State University
At the meeting the opinions were given on abstracts. Speaking on the case, the members of the Board also stated that the issue was topical, and was up to the requirements of the High Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the end, the dissertation by L.Tagizadeh by secret ballot was approved by members of the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
