Dissertation works were carried out at the Institute of Economics ANAS
On February 27, 2018, at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics ANAS, held the defense of theses under the chairmanship of director of the Institute of Economics, Professor, Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) initially defended Iranian citizen Sahar Heidar Alimardani on the theme of “Ways to improve the organization of electricity sales in the Islamic Republic of Iran” (Scientific adviser – Doctor of Economics, Professor Q.Suleymanov). Dissertation works were carried out at the Institute of Economics ANAS. 
Scientific Councilor Ph.D. in Economics, Sabina Shikhaliyeva gave information about defender and then Sahar Heidar Alimardani spoke about the urgency of the work, investigation level of the problem, duties and purposes of the work, the main scientific innovation of the work, the context of investigation, and talked about the conclusions and purposes.
Then the defender answered the questions of the members of the Dissertation Council, addressed to her. Official opponents for work - Doctor of Economics, B.S.Khidirov and Ph.D. in Economics, N.B.Boyukkishi not only pointed out the relevance of the issue, but also made remarks and proposals. The leading organization in the work is the Department of "Industrial Economics and Management" of the Azerbaijan Technical University.
In the second meeting discussed the thesis on "The place and role of foreign investments in the economy of Iran" (scientific supervisor, prof. A.A.Rustamov), which was presented by the candidate of the Institute of Economics ANAS, Iranian citizen Ali Akbar Gelyani Huseynali for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. Dissertation work was carried out at the Institute of Economics ANAS. 
At the meeting the opinions were given on abstracts. Defender answered to the questions which addressed him by the opponents, the lead agency, leading organizations and reviewers. Speaking on the case, the members of the Council also stated that the issue was relevant and that the work was in compliance with the relevant requirements. Finally, the dissertation by Shahin Mohammadpour was approved by secret ballot by members of the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
