In 2017, the Institute of Economics, ANAS, has completed the research on the evaluation of "IL(R)E-2016: level of liberalism-dirigisme of economy". The Index of leftness (rightness) of Economics - IL(R)L is an annual index, which have been published by the Institute of Economics ANAS, since 2014. At the first stage, index was calculated for countries in the Eastern Europe and in the regions of Central Asia (EECA) and for a number of developed countries (total 37 countries). In the Reports of 2015, have been added the calculations of different developmental levels of 25 countries and covering different regions of the world, and the number of countries of analyzed has risen to 62. In 2016, studies conducted in 95 countries (economics.com.az).
