On January 11, 2017, the President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, signed a decree on "Inclusion the Laboratory of “Modeling the fiscal strategy” of the Institute of Control Systems to the structure of the Institute of Economics ANAS".
In the laboratory, for creation of systems of management models of national economy, evaluation of the state's legislative and administrative efforts of tax potential, with the purpose of more successful coordination in the direction of scientific investigations on economic sciences and on other spheres for modeling mutual relations of fiscal and monetary policy in the Azerbaijan Republic together with the personnel staff of the same laboratory included to the structure of the Institute of Economics ANAS (economics.com.az).
