Held a conference on this theme at the Institute of Economics ANAS
On October 18, 2016 at the Institute of Economics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences was held a conference 
“Azerbaijan’s economy – 25: passed way and vision to the future” devoted to the 25th anniversary of state independence of Azerbaijan Republic. At the event, director of the Institute of Economics, Professor Nazim Imanov looked at the road passed during 25 years, to the economic development, and stressed that the welfare of population rose and become an example country in the world.
At the event, listened to the lectures by the representatives of state bodies, scientific societies of the republic, and economists. Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, professor Sh.Muradov made a speech on the theme "Demographic situation in the years of independence and employment: realities and problems", Corresponding Member of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, 
Professor, Ali Nuriyev made a speech on the theme "The road from the deep crisis to the comprehensive development", Corresponding Member of ANAS , Doctor of Economics, professor Akif Musayev made a speech on the theme "The main target in the near future: building of post-oil economy", academician Ziyad Samedzadeh made a speech on the theme "The strategy of economic development of Azerbaijan: thoughts about the future“.
On the reports noted that under the leadership of National Leader Heydar Aliyev the years of independence passed a long way of development, carried out fundamental reforms in all areas of the country, the country got out of crisis and achieved the steady progress, and our country is in a worthy place in the world. 
It was noted that today the same successful policy is continued by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the country's economy is growing stronger and well-being of population is rising.
