On July 5, 2016, held the following meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics. Under the chairmanship of director of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), a number of issues were discussed at the meeting.
First of all, has decided to give the scientific degree associate professor to Ph.D. in Economics, Abdulsamad Hasanagha Hasanov head of department "Regulation of entrepreneurship and monopoly", Ph.D. in Philosophy Mayis Gulali Gulaliyev leading scientific worker of the department “Globalization and international economic relations”, and Ph.D. in Economics Kamran Nuraddin Abdullayev leading scientific worker of the department “Development problems of services areas” and made decision to appeal to the Higher Attestation Commission.
At the meeting after the discussions a monograph “Gender equality in the field of employment” by Ph.D. in Economics, Sevinj Sadiq Musayeva the former graduate student of the department “Demographics and reproduction problems workforce” recommended for publication.
At the meeting of the Scientific Council discussed "Perfection of doctoral education in Azerbaijan and structuring in accordance with the requirements of the European Higher Education Area (Nizami project)" and discussed the decision no. 8/2, dated May 25, 2016, by the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Scientific Counsellor, Ph.D. in Economics, Rasmiyya Abdullayeva gave information about the document. In the end, was decided for broader discussion issues related to the improvement of doctoral education at the Scientific Council of the Institute should be prepared the specific proposals within a week by the departments (economics.com.az).
