On May 18, 2016, has carried out the following scientific seminar at the Institute of Economics ANAS
Under the chairmanship of professor Ali Nuriyev the Associated Member of ANAS has carried out the following scientific discussion of the thesis by two pretendants on the scientific degree Doctor of Philosophy in Econom
ics. Scientific Counsellor of the Scientific Seminar Ph.D. in Economics Sevda Seyidova gave information about them.
First of all, dissertant of the Institute of Economics ANAS, Samira Zafar Jafarova gave information about her dissertation work on the theme of “Formation of competitiveness of national economy under the condition of strengthening of foreign economic relations and its development directions” (on the specialty of 5308.01-“General economy”), (Scientific adviser – Doctor of Economics, professor Gulshan Yuzbashiyeva ). 
She based the urgency of dissertation work, investigation level of the problem, its purposes and duties, also noted the main scientific innovation of the thesis and spoke about the conclusion and recommendations with substantiating the theoretical and practical importance of dissertation work.
Reviewers – Doctor of Economics, professor, Amil Maharramov and Ph.D. in Economics, Rufat Afandiyev also based the urgency of dissertation work, investigation level of the problem, and based their comments and suggestions. Pretendant answered to the questions by the members and expressed her own opinion to the comments by reviewers. Attendants – Doctor of Economics, Gulanbar Azizova, Ph.D.in Philosophy Mayis Gulaliyev, Ph.D. in Economics, Jalil Guliyev, professors Irshad Karimli, Ramiz Isgendarov and Ali Nuriyev spoke about the comments and suggestuions on the dissertation work. At the end, S.Jafarova’s work with an open vote recommended to the next defense stage.
Then the pretendant Mesud Yazdani Yusif gave widely information about the content of thesis. He based the urgency of dissertation work, investigation level of the problem, its purposes and duties, also noted the main scientific innovation of the thesis and spoke about the conclusion and recommendations with substantiating the theoretical and practical importance of dissertation work. 
The second pretandant Huseyn Ahmad Ahmadzadeh gave broad information about his dissertation work on the theme of “Financial problems of development of regional entrepreneurship in the Iran Islamic Republic” (Scientific Adviser - Doctor of Economics, professor, Ali Nuriyev the Associated Member of ANAS, and Ph.D. in Economics, Agil Asadov), he based the urgency of dissertation work, investigation level of the problem, its purposes and duties, also noted the main scientific innovation of the thesis and spoke about the conclusion and recommendations with substantiating the theoretical and practical importance of dissertation work. 
Reviewers – Doctor of Economics, Mubariz Bagirov and Ph.D. in Economics, Alasger Sariyev reasonably expressed their comments and suggestions on the presented dissertation work and noted their offers on the work. At the end pretendant answered to the questions by the members and with an open vote the members of scientific seminar recommended the dissertation work to the next defense stage (economics.com.az).
