Problems of formation of "E-library"

On April 15, 2016, at the Institute of Information Technology ANAS has carried out republican scientific-practical conference on the theme of the problems of formation of "E-library".
The Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS, Baku State University (BSU), the Library and Information Consortium and with the organization of the Central Scientific Library carried out the conference and participated the members scientists and experts, representatives of the media from the relevant government agencies, higher education institutions and research institutes of ANAS. Academician-secretary of the Institute of Information Technologies, academician R.Aliguliyev on behalf of academician Akif Alizadeh President of ANAS, greeted the participants.
He lectured that "The prospects for the formation of the next generation of digital libraries" stressed the importance of carrying out the fundamental investigations of web-technologies, linguistic technologies, cloud technologies, Big Data technologies and the application of bibliometric technologies in the libraries.
At the conference participated Latifa Mammadova, head of department Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic, professor assistant Azad Gurbanov dean of the School of Library and Information of BSU, Leyla Imanova the director of the Central Scientific Library of ANAS made a speech on theme of “The mutual integration problems of electronic libraries”, and Jamila Yusifova the National Coordinator of the Library and Information Consortium made a speech on the theme of “Search capabilities of digital libraries in the international scientific databases, and provision of information in the educational process”.
Ph.D. in Economics Mahir Zeynalov the chief editor of the web-site economics.com.az also participated at the conference.
