During 23-25 February, 2016, held on the international meeting on the integration approach in Nairobi, Kenya, organized by UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) – UN Environment Program. The leading scientific worker of the Institute of 
Economics, ANAS Ph.D. inEconomics, Rufat Efendiyev attended the meeting. The member states of UNEP, non-state structures, the members of academician structure, including employees of UNEP attended the meeting. Ph.D. in Economics, Rufat Efendiyev spoke about the carried out works on the sphere of sustainable development of Azerbaijan, gained results and the activation mechanisms of global cooperation and noted the special role of UNEP in this sphere.
