On December 25, 2015, carried out the following discussion of dissertation works at the Scientific Seminar of the Institute of Economy Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences
The seminar chaired by Professor Ali Nuriyev, the Corresponding member of ANAS, the pretenders submitted for the scientific degree of Ph.D. in economics, and have been discussed their presented dissertation works. Ph.D. in economics, Sevda Seyidova Scientific Counsellor of the Scientific Seminar gave broad information about the pretendants.
Firstly, Manuchar Molaiya Alishan was a dissertant at the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Academician Z.M.Bunyadov gave information about the dissertation work (scientific adviser Ph.D. in Economics, Ilkin Soltanli) 
on the theme “The problems of specialization and rationality of agricultural production (in an example of Ardebil region) (on the speciality 5310.01 – “The world economy”) on the scientific degree Ph.D. in Economics. He also talked about the urgency of the problem, the level of its investigation, the research goals and objectives, the major scientific achievements, the main contents of the work, conclusions and suggestions.
The second pretender - was Ali Mahammad Mirzayev dissertant of the Institute of Economy ANAS, gave information about his dissertation work 
(scientific adviser, Doctor in Economics, professor T.Aliyev) on the theme of “The problems of management committee in the services areas” (on the speciality 5308.01- “General economy”) on the scientific degree Ph.D. in Economics.
Also talked about the urgency of the problem, the level of its investigation, the research goals and objectives, the major scientific achievements, the main contents of the work, conclusions and suggestions.
At the end, the dissertation works with taking into account the remarks and proposals and with an open vote were recommended for the next stage of discussions (economics.com.az).
