On February 12, 2016, at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economy ANAS were the defense of two dissertations.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of director of the Institute of Economy, Professor, Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) initially defended Camilla Fikrat Huseynova on specialty 5312.01 – “Area Economy”, on the theme of “Theoretical and methodological bases of formation of ecological management in the oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan” ( Scientific adviser - Doctor of Economics, professor Jumshudov S.G.).
Scientific Councilor Ph.D. in Economics, Fargana Musayeva gave information 
about defender and then Camilla Fikrat Huseynova spoke about the urgency of the work, investigation level of the problem, duties and purposes of the work, the main scientific innovation of the work, the context of investigation, and talked about the conclusions and purposes.
The second defender was Beyler Khanlar Heydarov on specialty 5312.01 – “Area Economy”, on the theme of “Perfection of socio-economic management in the agricultural sector” (Scientific adviser - Doctor of Economics, professor, Aliyev I.H.). Scientific Councilor Ph.D. in Economics, Fargana Musayeva gave information about defender and then Beyler Khanlar Heydarov
spoke about the urgency of the work, investigation level of the problem, duties and purposes of the work, the main scientific innovation of the work, the context of investigation, and talked about the conclusions and purposes.
Each of defenders were asked questions to which they answered in detail. Both works meet the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of Azerbaijan Republic. And at the end of discussion those works were confirmed by an open vote of the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
