Professor Nazim Muzaffarli the director of the Institute of Economy also participated in the Forum
On February 10, 2016, at the Baku Business Center held on 5th Tax Forum organized by the Ministry of Taxes on theme of “Tax system of Azerbaijan: realities and perspectives”. Representatives of the Presidential Administration, Parliament, Cabinet of Ministers and other state bodies, including the relevant structures of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the World Bank, local banks, from NGOs, Social Unions of Entrepreneurs and members of the mass media attended the Forum.
At the event the Deputy Minister of Taxes, Alekperov Sahib, a spokesman for the World Bank on Azerbaijan Leshchenko Larisa, Chairman of Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee, academician Ziyad Samedzadeh, Rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University, professor, Adalat Muradov and experts, 
representatives of the international auditor companies, entrepreneurs and representatives of public associations spoke about the improvement of business environment and perfection of tax administration under the condition of created the new economic environment.
At the forum the director of the Institute of Economy, Professor, Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) made a speech on the theme of "Estimation methodology of the level of economic regulation of the state and gained results" (economics.com.az).
