Listened to the yearly scientific reports of two departments: - “Regional development and problems of utilization of natural resources” and “Socio-economic problems of the life standards”
On November 18, 2015, under the chairmanship of the director of the institute of Economy ANAS, professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) held on a meeting on the yearly reports of employees of the department of “Regional development and problems of 
utilization of natural resources”, and listened to the reports of carried out scientific research works by them during 2015. The director’s deputy on scientific issues, Ph.D. in economics, assistant professor Allahyar Muradov and Scientific Councillor Ph.D. in economics, assistant professor Rasmiyya Abdullayeva also attended the yearly reports of the departments.
First of all, head of department professor, Rena Sultanova gave information that at the department carried out scientific investigations on the theme of “Analyses and evaluation of the present conditions of economy in the regions of Azerbaijan”.
Also professor, Rena Sultanova has carried out scientific research on the theme of “Analyses and evaluation of the present conditions of the development of industry on provision of economic sustainability in the regions of Azerbaijan” and spoke about the main scientific results, the importance of carried out scientific investigations and forthcoming duties of the department.
At the yearly report of the same department attended leading scientific worker, Ph.D. in agricultural science, Yusifov D.E., leading scientific worker, Rzayev R., leading scientific worker, Ph.D. in economics, Eyubov M., senior scientific worker, Ph.D. in economics, Akhmedov N., senior scientific worker, Piriyev K., scientific worker Abdalova M., scientific worker Najafli S., scientific worker Mehtiyeva E., scientific worker Mamedov T., gave broad information about the carried out scientific investigations by them.
At the second meeting, Ph.D. in economics Jalil Guliyev, head of the department of “Socio-economic problems of the life standards” gave information that at the department carried out scientific investigation on the theme of “Analyses and evaluation of the present conditions of the living quality in Azerbaijan”. Ph.D. in economics Jalil Guliyev, has carried out scientific investigation on the theme of “Changing inclinations of living quality under the condition of sustainable development” and talked about the main scientific results, 
the importance of carried out scientific investigations and forthcoming duties of the department.
Then employees of the department - leading scientific worker, Ph.D. in economics, Sh.A.Yagubov, senior scientific worker M.H.Rzayeva, senior scientific worker A.U.Allahverdiyeva and leading scientific worker, Ph.D. in economics A.M.Asgerov and scientific worker J.Aliyeva gave broad information about the carried out scientific investigations by them.
