On November 12, 2015, Doctor in economics, professor Isa Aliyev, head of the department
“Agrarian reforms and food security” of the Institute of Economy ANAS, also a group of employees of the same department held a meeting at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS. 
The event was dedicated to the “2015 - the year of agriculture”, the scientists noted the role and place of the agrarian sector in the economy of Azerbaijan, carried out reforms in this sector and its current condition, how to ensure food security, the lands’ utilization and improvement of its quality.
At the end of discussions were answered many questions by the scientists.
