In the event Ph.D. in economics, assistant professor Allahyar Muradov the deputy on economic issues of the Institute of Economy ANAS made a speech on the theme of “The role of science and innovation in the sustainable development”.
On October 15, 2015, at the hotel “Fairmount Baku Flame Tower” has carried out the conference on the 1st Azerbaijan Sustainable Development and Cooperative Social Liability (Baku CSR Conference 2015). The aim was the realization of complex evaluation of the current situation, including, widen the dialogue and cooperation between the state, private and non-state organizations for the development of this sphere.
At the plenary session “Sustainable development. Conception, global trends, standards” has participated Suleiman Gasimov the vice-president of economic issues of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and noted that the present conference expresses that the protection of environment and increasing of social liability are the most important duties. And said that the sustainable development of all areas of national economy on the base of directing the revenues earned from oil to the development of non-oil sector is the main target. 
Then Veyn Vissein the creator and director of “Kaleidoscope Futures|CSR International” has made a speech on the theme of “Sustainable areas: business, leadership and major changes due to innovations”. Academician Urkhan Alekperov the rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan made a speech on the theme of “Effective management due to sustainable development: the progresses of Azerbaijan Republic in the reports of international organizations”. In the meeting also participated professor Vilayat Valiyev director of the Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan Republic, also Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli vise-president of the company of “BP-Azerbaijan”.
In the plenary meeting of the conference Ph.D.in economics, assistant professor Allahyar Muradov, deputy on economic issues at the Institute of Economy ANAS made a speech on the theme of “The role of science and innovation in the sustainable development”. In his speech, he noted an important role of science in the present development of society. Beside this, he noted the role of science in a number of global ecological problems and in the occurring mass murder. 
A.Muradov spoke about the developed and developing countries of the world in the modern period, and analyzing the development level of science and innovation talked about the development trends to be based on science, innovation and knowledge in Azerbaijan and ahead challenges in this direction.
