On June 16, 2015, at the Institute of Information Technology held a meeting with the group of employees of the Institute of Economy ANAS under the leading of director of the Institute of Economy of ANAS, professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov). The purpose of the meeting was the discussion of activities and prospects of cooperation between two institutions. Academic Secretary of ANAS Rasim Aliguliyev the director of the Institute of Information Technology gave more information about the institute. 
Economic scientists, become more familiar with science and computer network AzScienceNet, with the Distant Education Center and Information-Education Centre, with the publishing house “Information Technologies”, the Scientific Research Center and the Digital Library Centre. The employees have also been acquainted with ongoing works on developing projects, including with the activities of Internet cafe, and with the auditorium equipped with the modern technologies.
Then, the discussion continued at the round table with the participation of our employees. During the meeting, academician Rasim Aliguliyev noted that the top priority of the Institute is to train highly qualified personnel, as well as strengthening material-technical base of scientific research institutions. He also spoke about the directions of scientific activities of the Institute of Information Technology, about the preparation of highly qualified personnel in the field of information technology, and etc. issues. Academician also spoke about the state program in the field of information and communication technologies and the participation of their Institute in the Program.
Then director of the Institute of Economy of ANAS, professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) highly praised the works of the Institute of Information Technology, their activity according to the most modern standards, also noted that their experience in this field would be very interesting both to the Institute of Economy and to another institutions of ANAS.
At the end of the meeting, each of the parties stressed the importance of cooperation between the Institutes and strengthening of business relations in the future. (economics.com.az)
