The exams for doctoral degree

The exams for doctoral degree and for minimum will be held in the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in autumn of 2015.
Starting from this year the admission exams for doctoral degree at the institutes of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences will be held in tests’ system. ANAS has already given information, also the last week, adopted the new decision on planned exams at the Presidium of ANAS. At the present-day, develops the works on the planned test exams, which is planned to carry out in autumn of 2015. The exams questions will be developed by according institutions of ANAS. The students will pass exam on specialty, on foreign language and on philosophy.
The students studying on the programs of philosophic doctor (doctorates and candidates for a degree) will be also pass test exams. This information also proved by the Institute of Economy ANAS and said that those exams will be carried out in autumn, approximately on November, or on December of 2015.
We must note that the requirements on exams for doctoral degree at ANAS has increased. So, starting from this year, the candidates of philosophic degree should be pass exam on TOEFL and must get minimum 80 points or 6.5 points on IELTS program, but the candidates for doctoral degree must get minimum 100 points or 7 points on IELTS program for evaluation their English knowledge and must present the certificates about the exams' results.
