On May 22, 2015, in the Central Scientific Library of ANAS held on the presentation of the book of “Foreign economic relations of Azerbaijan: progresses and perspectives” 
on occasion of 87th anniversary of deceased Agasalim Alesgerov the corresponding member of ANAS, and published under his general editorship.
Many economic scientists jointed to the presentation and the meeting opened with the speech of professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) the director of the Institute of Economy.He talked about the life and scientific activities of Agasalim Alesgerov and gave broad information about the published book by the group employees of the institute in honorary of his memory. 
The book were published by the edition of collective authors and by professor A.M.Maharramov, Ph.D. of economy F.A.Gambarov and Ph.D. of philosophy M.G.Gulaliyev.
The participants watched the film about the scientific activities of Agasalim Alesgerov too. Ph.D. of philosophy Mayis Gulaliyev gave information about the publication and said that this book could be published even two years before. But the chief of collective authorship and the corresponding member of ANAS A.Alesgerov approached to the scientific works with high attention and carefully. So that the publication of the book slowed down.
He wanted to see the book in a perfection form and each chapter and paragraph of the book were carefully discussed by him and members. But unfortunately, when the book were given to the print he was not alive. So that the collective authorship very seriously approached to the publication of the book. The corresponding member of ANAS Shahbaz Muradov also participated in the book’s presentation and was very thankful to the head of the institute and to the employees who worked very hard for bringing up this book and carried out such beautiful presentation.
He talked about A.Alesgerov’s memories, since their youth age how they worked together and what a peaceful, respectful and kind person he was. A.Alesgerov was a great scientist with wide outlook. 
Academician Z.Samedzadeh also highly valued the publication of the book. He talked about the attendance of A.Alesgerov in the development of economic science of Azerbaijan, about his scientific activity, how his carried out scientific investigations are urgency even at the present-day, also talked about his hard labor in the scientific investigation of foreign economic relations of Azerbaijan, the academician noted that the publication and the presentation of such books are very important for the youth scientists of Azerbaijan:
“In this book was written the national interests of Azerbaijan” too.
The academician-secretary of Social Sciences Department of ANAS Nargiz Akhundova the corresponding member of ANAS said that carried out works in the Institutes of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan are always in the attention of our department. And the organization of such great meetings and the publication of such book is very necessary for our science and 
education. 
The rector of Baku Business University, professor Ibad Abbasov, Tofig Guliyev professor at the Azerbaijan State Economic University, Ph.D. of economy Fuad Gambarov talked about the life and scientific activities of A.Alesgerov and spoke about his memories. A.Alesgerov was very hard working, intellectual person with bright mind and was one of the famous economic scientists of Azerbaijan, he was very kind and honesty also responsible and pretender and creative scientist of Azerbaijan. 
The most famous economic scientists of Azerbaijan highly valued the presented book “The foreign economic relations of Azerbaijan: progresses and perspectives”.
At the end of the presentation Aygun Alegerova a daughter of A.Alesgerov was very thankful to the head of the Institute of Economy ANAS for the high appreciation and publication of her father’s book.
