“The business environment in Azerbaijan: perspectives and achievements”
In the club of “Creative Economy” held on an interesting discussion with a businessman Vugar Abbasov.
On May 01, 2015, in the Discussion Club of “Creative economy” of the Institute of Economy of ANAS held on a meeting with Vugar Abbasov the president of the group of companies “Cahan Holding” on the theme of “The business environment in Azerbaijan: perspectives and achievements”. At the beginning of the meeting the participants watched to the video clip about the Holding Company’s activities, then Vugar Abbasov spoke about his business. The following functions are included to the holding: technical services, food industry, heavy industry, the production of construction materials, building and etc. also noted that “Cahan Holding” has its official representatives in 5 countries of the world.
By the participants of Discussion Club were asked questions in the field of finance; related issues on tax and customs procedure; the question of how the process of devaluation of manat influenced to the business of Holding Company; also touched upon the problem of increasing the competitiveness of goods and the increasing problems of the export potential; the organization policy of social protection of employees of the Holding Company and etc. problems. Vugar Abbasov answered to these and other interested questions and thanked all the participants of the Club and wished them good luck in the field of economic sciences.
