“The point of intersection between the Islamic religion and the economy”
At the Institute of Economy ANAS was held on the presentation of Doctor of Economy, professor, Gurbanov Asadulla.
On May 8, 2015, Doctor of Economy, professor, Gurbanov Asadulla the head of Research Center of Islamic Studies held a presentation on the theme of “The point of intersection between the Islamic religion and the economy”. 
In his speech, professor talked about the spiritual values of Islam; about the awareness of the greatness of Islam; about the system of socio-economic relations and the formation of the society in the Islamic countries; about wars eastbound and availability of the economic factor as the basis of these wars; the desire to appropriate the natural resources of the East and West; on the socio-economic relations between Azerbaijan and Islamic countries; and to deal with the Islamic banking. After the presentation the topic has been widely discussed.
At the meeting made a speech the director of the Institute of Economy Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), Professor of the Azerbaijan Economic University Avaz Bayramov, Doctor of Economic Sciences Yuzbashieva Gulshan, professor Mehish Akhmedov, Azizov Gulenber and other employees of the Institute and told about the importance of Islam in the economy of our countries.
