On February 2, 2024, held a scientific seminar at the MSE Institute of Economics on the specialty 5308.01 - "General economy". At the seminar, held a discussion on the dissertation work submitted by the claimant Vafa Khanlar Hashimova to receive a scientific degree PhD in Economics on the topic "Potential impact of the liberalization of the pension system on economic development in Azerbaijan"
At the meeting chaired by Professor Elshad Mammadov, the secretary of the Scientific Seminar, PhD, Assoc.prof., Kamran Abdullayev gave information about V. Hashimova and she gave a broad presentation on the main content of her dissertation. Then heard the appointed opinion on the case. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to her by reviewers and seminar members. The members of the seminar presented their opinions on the thesis, and held discussions. In the end, the thesis was recommended for the defense stage by secret voting (economics.org.az).
