Head of the "Inclusive Social Development" Department of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, Head of Department "Innovative Economy and Digital Transformation", Doctor of Economics Allahyar Muradov, and Head of the "Economic Problems of the Agricultural Sector" Department, Doctor of Economics Yunis Sadigov participated in the 10th International Congress of Applied Social Sciences, held in online format in North Macedonia on April 28-30, 2026.
The event was co-organized by the University of Tetova in North Macedonia, the University of Malta, the Haxhi Zeka University in Kosovo, the Academy of Economic Sciences in Moldova, the University of Rijeka in Croatia, and the Western University in Romania. The theme of congress was “Reassessing risk and resilience in the SDG era”. Our institute’s employees delivered speeches on “Digital transformation and integration of vulnerable groups into the labor market”. Scientists from more than 40 countries attended the congress. R. Abdullayeva chaired one of the sections at the congress (economics.org.az).
