  Published a textbook "Economics of the Agro-Processing Industry" by Yunus Sadigov, Doctor of Economic Sciences, leading researcher of the department "Economic Problems of Agricultural Sector" of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education.
  The book recommended for publication by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics, scientific editor is a corresponding member of ANAS, professor Shahbaz Muradov, and the reviewers are professor Islam Ibrahimov, professor Rasmiyya Abdullayeva and associate professor Agil Gurbanov.   
  This textbook provides students and researchers of higher education institutions with systematized knowledge about the economic essence, contemporary problems and development prospects of the agro-processing industry. In modern times, in addition to production, the processing of agricultural products is a complex area that combines ecological, social, technological and economic factors.  
  In the source explains the role and historical development of the sector, the economic and technological foundations of meat, milk, flour, bread, winemaking, cotton, fruit and vegetable and other main processing directions. Attention is also paid to the prospects of Azerbaijan in the context of sustainable development and international experience.
