The Public Union of Economists of Turkic-Speaking States has investigated the employment problems of women from vulnerable groups. The Public Union of Economists of Turkic-Speaking States has successfully implemented the project “Opportunities for ensuring employment of women from vulnerable groups: social entrepreneurship and modern challenges” with the financial support of the Agency for State Support to NGOs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Held the presentation of the book “Women's Employment: Support for Vulnerable Groups”, published within the framework of the project.
The research team of the project, headed by Professor Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, also Prof. Nazim Muzaffarli, Associate Professor Allahyar Muradov and Ph.D. student Melek Aliyeva were icluded.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, the Chairwoman of the Public Union of Economists of Turkic-Speaking States, Professor Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, who provided information about the project, said that the book is dedicated to the study of employment opportunities for women from vulnerable groups.
The book examines the current condition of employment of women from vulnerable groups in our country and identifies opportunities for their retraining in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. Within the framework of the project, a sociological survey was conducted among women regarding their employment, and the results were analyzed. Proposals were developed to increase social entrepreneurship in expanding employment opportunities for women from vulnerable groups. The authors hope that the results, proposals and recommendations of the study will be interesting and useful not only for economists but also for decision-makers in the field of socio-economic policy.
Speakers at the event were: Head of Department of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Shahbaz Muradov, Lecturer of the Department of “Public Administration and Management” of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Economic Sciences Yashar Mammadov, Head of the Department of Baku Eurasian University, Associate Professor Vusala Naghiyeva, Chairman of the Public Union for Support to the Development of Marketing Activities Sanan Yahya, Senior Editor of the Azerbaijan State Radio Arzu Bayramova and others highly appreciated the book "Women's Employment: Support for Vulnerable Groups", especially noting the importance of the project dedicated to the study of employment opportunities for women from vulnerable groups, and emphasized that the results of the study will be useful for our society.
