On May 16-18, 2025, held the "2nd International Congress on Strategic Studies of the Turkic World " in Ankara, the capital of Turkey that jointly organized by Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University and the Yoruk Turkmen Union. Shakir Aliyev, General Manager of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Head of Department of Inclusive Social Development, Associate Professor Allahyar Muradov Head of the Department of Innovative Economy and Digital Transformation, and Associate Professor Parviz Hasanov Head of Department of Economy of the Service Areas participated in the congress.
The event was attended by 145 representatives from more than 20 countries (Azerbaijan, Turkey, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Sweden, Russia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, etc.), 70 universities, 16 organizations and 3 strategic centers. R. Abdullayeva gave a report on “The role of creative industries in strengthening economic cooperation in the Turkic world”, A. Muradov and Sh. Aliyev made reports on “Strengthening scientific and educational relations between TATKOK”, P. Hasanov made a report on “Opportunities for cooperation between Turkic states in the field of healthcare”.
Employees of the Institute of Economics also visited the “Azerbaijani Turkish Education Center” acting at Gazi University as a part of the project of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center that acts under the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Turkey. During the visit, the instructor of the “Azerbaijani Turkish Education Center”, a doctoral student at Gazi University, Shahla Ibishova, gave information about the activities of the Cultural Center and Azerbaijani Turkish courses. She said that the courses not only teach the language, but also instill knowledge about Azerbaijani culture, literature and history.
