On April 21, 2025, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education. The meeting, chaired by the Director General, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, and discussed a number of scientific and organizational issues.
Prof. N. Muzaffarli congratulated Shahin Sadigov, a leading scientific researcher of the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Problems of the Institute, on receiving the scientific title “associate professor”, and Nusret Ibrahimov, a scientific researcher of the Department of Demography and Employment Problems, on receiving the scientific degree “Doctor of Philosophy in Economics”.
The Director General gave information about the work plan of the Ministry of Science and Education on the implementation of "National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight against Corruption for 2022-2026" of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He noted that anti-corruption propaganda and educational activities have been carried out at the Institute.
Head of the Education Department, PhD Ellada Khankishiyeva gave information about the individual work plans of doctoral and Ph.D. students admitted to the Institute of Economics in 2024, and approved their work plans.
The Scientific Council made a decision on receiving academic title of associate professor to the leading researcher of the Department of Inclusive Social Development, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, Jala Aliyeva, based on the positive result of a secret ballot (economics.org.az).
