On February 7, 2025, at the meeting of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education, chaired by Prof. Nazim Muzaffarli, held a discussion on the dissertation work on “Development of the metallurgical industry of Azerbaijan and perfection of interregional economic relations” submitted by Imran Balamirza Amirov, Ph.D. student of the Institute of Economics, for the academic title of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics in the specialty 5312.01 – “Field Economy”.
The applicant I. Amirov made a comprehensive presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Listened to the opinions of the official opponents. The applicant answered the questions addressed to him. The members of the Council made speeches and expressed their opinions on the dissertation, and held discussions. Finally, the dissertation was approved by the Dissertation Council through a secret ballot (economics.org.az).
