The department's general research topic in 2024 is "Forecasting of macroeconomic growth in Azerbaijan. Econometric assessment of factors affecting macroeconomic growth."
At the meeting, associate professor Ravana Asadova made a report on "Modeling the mutual influence of monetary policy and economic development in the Republic of Azerbaijan", junior researcher Murad Shikhiyev made a report on "Evaluation of macro indicators per capita in the Republic of Azerbaijan", junior researcher Khazar Abbaszade made a report on "Evaluation of the interaction of economic growth and labor market in the Republic of Azerbaijan" (economics.org.az).
