Academician Vagif Abbasov, the general director of IPCP, introduced the economists in detail about the history and activities of the institute he leads, and talked about the latest innovations, scientific research works and their main results, achievements and main goals.
General director of MSE Institute of Economics, prof. Nazim Muzaffarli gave information about the activities of the Institute of Economics, conducted scientific research works there and their main results. Especially in recent years, carried out researches on the basis of the orders by state institutions, their importance and benefits for the country, printed out books, also economists spoke about the tasks assigned to them for the economic development of the country. In this field, held interesting discussions on the possibilities of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between MSE research institutes.
Academician Vagif Abbasov gave information about the research conducted by the scientists of IPCP in the field of studying Naftalan oil. He said that "White Naftalan" oil, the production technology of which was created together with the Experimental-Industrial Plant (EIP), was registered as a medicinal product in the Ministry of Health in 2014 and organized its production.
Currently, created "Biologically active White Naftalan oil", "Naftakosmet-L", "Naftakosmet-P", "Naftaterm-La", "Naftaterm-Ç", "Naftakandid-C" and "Gold Naftalan" products. In recent years, the Institute has created "Karabagh-1", "Karabakh-2", "Karabagh-3" and "Karabakh-4" plant height stimulants, and its effect has been confirmed on the development and productivity of various plants by field experiments. The widespread use of these stimulants will allow to achieve high productivity in agriculture, will ensure the rapid restoration of destroyed forests in lands freed from occupation.
The application of many results of scientific research of IPCP in local industry and agriculture has aroused interest. In particular, the "Azofosk" fertilizer developed by the Institute increases the yield of agricultural products (corn, grapes, pomegranate, cotton, alfalfa, etc.) by 2-3 times, even allows harvesting twice a year, and experimentally has been proven the faster growth of trees such as firs and sycamores.
Produced 200 tons of this fertilizer. "Azofosk" fertilizer was successfully tested in the grape fields of "AzGranat" LLC in Shamakhi, and it was achieved to increase productivity in pomegranate production.
Since 2015, the adhesion additive to bitumen V-2 created at the institute has been used by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Motorways during major construction and repair of roads. Extends the service life of the roads that built with using this contribution, and reduces the number of current repairs.
Currently, new reagents, which are important for solving serious problems of the oil industry, have been created and are on the verge of industrial tests. 71 Azerbaijani patents and 13 Eurasian patents were acquired at IPCP in the last ten years (economics.org.az).
