At the seminar, leading researcher of the Department of Inclusive Social Development of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, Jala Aliyeva made a presentation on "Living standard of the rural population: towards inclusive growth". The speaker gave extensive information about the main content of the monograph she wrote in this name and the research she conducted.
She talked about the scientific-theoretical views of the living standards, the system of indicators characterizing the living standards, the indices used in the assessment of the living standards.
Then interesting discussions were held around the report and answered the questions. In particular, topical issues such as employment problems of the population in the regions, indicators of the living standards of population and quality of life, marriage and divorce, the risk of poverty, the flow of the population to the capital, and the modern state of education and health care in the regions have caused wide discussions (economics.org.az).
