On June 28, 2024, held a meeting of the Dissertation Council of MSE Institute of Economics
At the meeting chaired by Professor Rena Sultanova, held a discussion of the dissertation work by Ali Yashar Abbasov, Ph.D. student of the Azerbaijan Scientific-Research and Design – Projecting Power Energineering Institute on the specialty 5312.01 - "Field Economics" and on "Models for forecasting the export prices of electricity produced in Azerbaijan for the medium and long term" submitted to receive the scientific degree of Ph.D. in Economics.
Scientific secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova gave information about A. Abbasov and then he made a broad presentation about the main content of his dissertation work. Heard the opinion of official opponents. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to him. The members of the council spoke about the dissertation work and expressed their opinions, held discussions. In the end, the dissertation was approved by the Dissertation Council through secret voting (economics.org.az).
