From June 11, 2024, a group of employees of the Scientific Center "Reconstruction of Post-conflict Territories" of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education - the head of the Center, Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc.prof., Azer Safarov, leading scientific workers Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor Tabriz Yadigarov, Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc.prof., Rahima Nuraliyeva, junior researchers Elmir Mehdiyev and Javanshir Burkhanzade visited Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions.
On the first day of the trip, which will last three days, the researchers got to know the "Araz Valley Economic Zone" Industrial Park located in Soltanli village of Jabrayil region and met with Malik Hajiyev the executive director of the Industrial Park. M. Hajiyev gave the researchers information about the project of the Industrial Park, its residents and the work done so far.
Later, the employees of the Institute of Economics visited Agali village of Zangilan region and got acquainted with the work done there. It is intended that the researchers get to know the restoration and reconstruction works carried out in Lachin region, Shusha city, Aghdam and in other territories freed from occupation (economics.org.az).
