On December 6, 2023, at the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education, held a meeting with the management team of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy. General director of the Institute of Economics, prof. Nazim Muzaffarli introduced the guests and noted that this meeting is one of the next events within the framework of close cooperation with state institutions
Then, the head of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service (ACMCSS), Mammad Abbasbeyli, gave extensive information about the history of establishment of the institution headed by him, and the main directions of its activity. He said that ACMCSS implements state policy in the areas of antimonopoly, unfair competition, public procurement, advertising, technical regulation, standardization, metrology, conformity assessment, accreditation, quality management, consumer rights protection, and also provides state control and regulation of the consumer market within its powers. The main mission of the Civil Service is to create conditions for free competition and effective protection of entrepreneurship, which ensures sustainable development of the country's economy.
