On November 24, 2023, held a scientific seminar on the specialty 5312.01 - "Field economy" at the Institute of Economics MSE
In the seminar, held a discussion on the dissertation work submitted by the plaintiff Ali Yashar Abbasov to receive a scientific degree Doctor in Economics on "Models for forecasting the prices of electricity produced in Azerbaijan for the medium and long term".
At the meeting chaired by Professor Tarbiz Aliyev, the secretary of the Scientific Seminar, Ph.D. Famil Rustamov gave information about A. Abbasov and he made a broad presentation on the main content of his dissertation work. Then heard the opinion of the reviewers appointed on the case. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to him by reviewers and seminar members. The members of the seminar presented their opinions on the thesis, and held discussions. In the end, by secret voting the dissertation was recommended for the defense stage (economics.com.az).
